The new website is full of information on gift cards, recommendations and competitions.
National Book Tokens have inspired book lovers since 1932. Their gift cards can be spent with hundreds of bookshops across the UK and Ireland and there are a number of gift card designs for readers of all ages and all occasions.
- The Challenge
This brief was primarily a technical solution as National Book Tokens needed to merge multiple websites into one so the team at Reuben has rebuilt the website ground up from scratch using the latest ASP.net coding stack.
As part of this process, we have been consulting with Reuben and the digital team at National Book Tokens, being part of the website project from commencement and providing insights on the branding and how to translate that digitally.
- The Strategy
The Jazzbones UI design team got under the skin of the project and the National Book Tokens brand guidelines and values and from this learning, we then produced a number of website user interface prototypes. Following user testing, the preferred design has been taken across key sections and pages of the user journey using the industry-leading UI Figma design platform. This tool enables the client to visualise the website and they can make adjustments to the design and layout without the dev team having to spend valuable time on the front end.
- The Result
National Book Tokens now have a fresh, user-friendly, content-driven and sustainable website to delight all book lovers.
