Some of the world’s most intriguing bars are in locations you might not expect, hidden in taco joints and noodle shops or disguised as umbrella shops or video stores.
Now Swindon has its very own ‘hidden bar’, in this case housed in the vault of the old post office building in Victoria Road, Old Town, and named, you guessed it, The Vault! After enduring two lockdowns and then limited capacity in the first few months of opening, the owners could be forgiven for drowning their sorrows in one of The Vault’s choice cocktails. Luckily, awesome feedback from punters suggest this is one business that can overcome initial hiccups.
Aiming to launch in March 2020 and then going through two lockdowns, The Vault needed a responsive agency that could provide a cost effective solution to their ever- changing requirements. Jazzbones started by working closely with the owners at the planning stage to understand their unique proposition. Taking on board their wish list, we then developed on message branding which included logo and brand identity, menus, signage, clothing, website, social media, photography and film.
The simple but stylish website has been developed by the Jazzbones digital team which enables the client to easily manage and maintain their website moving forward. The website, like their philosophy, is simple and doesn’t give too much away about the venue, but it’s a classy calling card which gives a flavour of the vibe at the Vault and integrates with their third party table booking system.
For the moment, we recommend trying one of their great takeaway cocktails, but when The Vault finally opens in normal circumstances, you’ll love the vibe and atmosphere, too. This is one bar that definitely won’t be a secret for long!
