Jazzbones created a website for Wichelstowe, commissioned by Swindon Borough Council in partnership with Switch Onto Swindon. It brought the scale and character of the residential development into a clear digital experience for prospective buyers, residents and local businesses.
The website needed to explain a place that was still taking shape. Alongside the wider vision, visitors needed practical information and a way to understand progress as construction continued.
We worked within Wichelstowe’s established identity, carrying its bright palette and contemporary typography into the digital design. A staggered grid gave the content a clear structure and reflected the angles found in the brand.
The approach balanced the development’s ambition with the everyday questions people would bring to the site. Information about the place, its development and its community could sit together without competing for attention.
The resulting website provided a platform for ongoing updates, allowing the story to develop alongside the construction work.
It gave Wichelstowe a digital presence that felt connected to its identity, with a clear route through the information that mattered to its different audiences.
